What is UPSC?
The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) conducts the Civil Services Examination (CSE) to recruit officers for the Indian Administrative Service (IAS), Indian Police Service (IPS), Indian Foreign Service (IFS), and other All India Services. This is one of the most competitive examinations in India with a success rate of less than 0.1%.
Examination Stages
Preliminary Examination (Prelims)
Objective Type: Two papers of 200 marks each (Total 400 marks)

Passing is mandatory: Minimum 33% marks required
Main Examination
